Your treatment appointment is reserved specifically for you. We therefore ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment (this includes downgrading your appointment services, if you decide that you only want a portion of the services you are scheduled for) as a courtesy to both our therapists and other clients. Giving notice will enable us to reschedule your treatment to a more convenient time. 

You can edit your appointment via our online booking or the salon can be contacted on 01224 658000 (answering service available), by email on [email protected] and through our Facebook page.

Clients who have previously missed 2 or more appointments will be asked to pay in full when booking for a treatment.

Late cancellations

We appreciate that sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment and kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours notice (this includes downgrading your appointment services, if you decide that you only want a portion of the services you are scheduled for). 

Late cancellations will result in a 50% charge of your appointment cost. This will be payable at your next appointment. 

*Online bookings will be charged by way of your online payment method on the day of the cancellation/no show/lateness.

‘No show’ & lateness

‘No show’ appointments will result in a 100% charge of your appointment cost. This will need to be paid in advance of your next appointment.

Please note that lateness by more than 10 minutes will result in a missed appointment and therefore will be treated under the ‘no show’ policy.

*Online bookings will be charged by way of your online payment method on the day of the cancellation/no show/lateness.

Long Appointments & Pre Paid Courses

To secure long appointments a non refundable booking fee will be required at the time of booking. This will then come off the total of your treatment cost. Failure to give at least 24hrs notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit and the remaining 50% charge of appointment cost.

Pre paid course bookings: failure to make an appointment or give less than 24 hours cancellation notice, will result in the missed appointment being forfeited. No refund or alternative appointment will be given for any missed appointments or short notice cancellations.

Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from day of purchase.

All courses must be paid in full at time of booking and completed within the 3,5 or 6 months stated and are non-refundable. Missed appointments may result in treatments deducted from your course.

Data processors are third parties who provide some elements of our business services for us. Where we use a third-party, we have strict agreements in place governing the processing of your personal data, on which no action can be taken without instruction from us. How Long Do We Keep Your Data?

Beautylicious Aberdeen retains your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services as our client. Beautylicious Aberdeen are required under tax laws to keep your personal data for a minimum of 7 years. Health and Safety records will be retained for 10 years and where we have your consent for marketing purposes, we will retain the minimum required data until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive such information.

When your personal data is processed through Phorest software, all of it is held within the EU. Your information is processed by the Phorest software and stored in the Amazon Web Services cloud. During this process your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Consequences of not providing your personal information to Beautylicious Aberdeen

In the event that you want to purchase a product or service from Beautylicious Aberdeen, certain personal information is required to enter into a contract with you. Beautylicious Aberdeen will not be able to enter into a contract with you to fulfill an attempt to purchase a product or service if you do not provide your personal information.

As noted in this privacy statement, we are processing your personal data to comply with legal and statutory obligations and in the performance of a contract. You can always choose not to provide personal information; however, we will be unable to provide certain products, services and treatments in these instances.

Safe guarding your Personal Data

Your connection to the Phorest system uses a HTTP Secure communication protocol and TLS security. This means all information passed to the Phorest system is encrypted during data input and transfer to the cloud. Any paper files recording your personal data are held in a locked filing cabinet or safe which can only be accessed by authorised personnel in the salon. Employees are only assigned specific access rights and can only access

the salon software with the PIN number assigned to them by the management of the salon.


In the occurrence that you want to make a complaint about how your personal data was gathered, how it is being processed by Beautylicious Aberdeen (or third parties used by Beautylicious Aberdeen) or you are not satisfied about how a complaint has been handled, you retain the right to lodge a complaint directly with the supervisory authority and Beautylicious Aberdeen and also the Beautylicious Aberdeen Data Protection Officer/ GDPR Owner.
